Monty Sound Production is owned and run by Dr Scott Stickland. Scott has a Doctor of Philosophy in Music and Master of Music Technology degrees from The University of Newcastle (2022, 2016) and a Bachelor of Education (Music) degree from The University of Melbourne (1992). He has previously worked as a Classroom and Instrumental Music teacher and Music Coordinator in Victorian government secondary colleges for 16 years before moving to private tuition. Scott's doctoral thesis was titled Online Real-Time Collaborative Audio Mixing: A New Audio Mixing Paradigm. 

 

Scott has played in a number of bands in Melbourne's cover band scene for over 20 years as a keyboardist and vocalist, and is currently a member of Cool Change: The Ultimate LRB Tribute, playing venues in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. For all the latest news and gigs, click on  

 

 

Scott is currently a beta tester for iZotope, helping them develop the latest version of their Neutron plug-in, Neutron 4.
